Question 4 (or 5) Nights in Krakow...Questions!

Hi! We are a family (2 adults and 2 teens) from Canada. We are making a 35 days road trip in Central Europe and planning to spend 4 or 5 nights in Krakow. We're looking for recommendations on must-see attractions, family-friendly activities, and any hidden gems that are off the beaten path. Also, any advice on accommodations that are comfortable for a family and centrally located would be great. We're particularly interested in historical sites, local cuisine, and maybe a day trip or two if time allows. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Krakow is a fantastic choice for your family trip! For historical sites, the Wawel Castle and the Old Town are must-sees. Don't miss the Wieliczka Salt Mine for a unique experience. For a day trip, Auschwitz-Birkenau is a sobering but important visit. For local cuisine, try pierogi at a traditional milk bar. As for accommodations, look for family-friendly apartments in the Old Town area for convenience and comfort. Enjoy your adventure!
