Hello All! My boyfriend and I are visiting Ireland for 5 days in July, and it's my first time, so I'm super excited! I have been looking at some travel guides, but it feels overwhelming with so many amazing places to choose from. What are the must-see spots for a short trip like this? Should we focus on Dublin, or venture out to places like Galway and the Cliffs of Moher? Any tips on itineraries or hidden gems would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance!

That sounds like an incredible trip! While Dublin has a lot to offer, I’d recommend definitely venturing out to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. You could spend a day in Dublin exploring the history and culture, then take a day trip to the Cliffs—it's a sight you won't forget. A possible itinerary could be: Day 1 in Dublin, Day 2 in Galway (definitely check out the Latin Quarter), Day 3 at the Cliffs, and then maybe a day in the Ring of Kerry before heading back. Have you thought about renting a car for more flexibility? Also, keep an eye out for some local pubs with live music; that's where you'll get the real Irish experience!

Your excitement is contagious! I love the idea of your itinerary. If you have time, consider adding a visit to Killarney National Park on your way to the Ring of Kerry; the landscapes are stunning and perfect for a leisurely hike. Also, don't miss out on trying some traditional Irish dishes like Irish stew or fish and chips at local pubs! Are there any specific activities you both enjoy that I could suggest incorporating into your trip? ☘️
