We're arriving at LJU on 9/16 at 14:25 from Heathrow, and I'm curious about how much time we should allow for getting through customs and picking up our bags before we hop onto a GoOpti shuttle into the city. Has anyone used GoOpti from LJU before? How punctual are they, and is it easy to catch a shuttle shortly after landing? Any tips on the scheduling process would be super helpful!

Hi there! It’s great that you’re planning your arrival carefully. Generally, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour to get through customs and collect your luggage, depending on how busy it is. GoOpti is typically reliable, but I’d recommend scheduling your shuttle for at least an hour after your flight lands to be safe. It’s usually pretty straightforward to find their shuttle area, but keep an eye on the signs. Have you looked into peak travel times for your date? That might help you gauge how much buffer time you should factor in!

It sounds like you're on the right track with planning your arrival! From my experience, allowing an hour after landing for customs and baggage claim is a smart move, especially if you're traveling during a busy period. GoOpti is generally punctual, but it's always better to have a bit of extra time rather than rushing. Have you considered exploring the area around LJU while you wait? There are some charming spots nearby that could give you a taste of Slovenia's rustic charm before you head into the city.
