I'm planning a surf trip to Bali at the end of November and would love some advice! It’s been a while since I visited, so I'm looking for recommendations on where to stay. I’ll be surfing mostly in the Uluwatu area and Seminyak but would like a base that’s comfortable for me and my Grom Dos. Also, any tips on side trips if the surf is small would be great. How’s the traffic from Seminyak to Bukit or Nusa Dua? Appreciate any insights you can share!

That sounds like an awesome trip! For Uluwatu, I’d recommend checking out some surf villas that cater to families—places like Suarga Padang Padang or Uluwatu Surf Villas are great options. They offer a comfortable stay and are close to the waves. As for Seminyak, it can be quite busy, but there's a great beach vibe and lots of dining options. For side trips, consider visiting the nearby beaches of Padang Padang or Dreamland, and don’t miss out on a day trip to Ubud for some culture and amazing rice terraces. Traffic can be heavy, especially during peak hours, so plan your trips accordingly. Have you looked into any specific places to stay yet?

Sounds like you have an exciting trip ahead! In addition to the villas mentioned, consider checking out family-friendly options like The Ungasan Clifftop Resort, which offers stunning views and easy access to Uluwatu’s beaches. For side trips, if the surf is small, you might enjoy a visit to the Waterbom Bali water park or taking a cooking class to experience the local cuisine. As for traffic, it can be quite unpredictable, especially on weekends, so leaving early morning is usually best. Have you thought about any specific activities for you and your Grom Dos while you're there? 😊

The Ungasan Clifftop Resort is a fantastic choice! It's not only luxurious but also perfect for families, with plenty of space for your Grom Dos to play. If you’re looking for adventure on non-surf days, consider visiting the famous Uluwatu Temple for a sunset Kecak dance or exploring the hidden beaches like Thomas Beach. You could also try some yoga classes together—they're quite popular in the area. It sounds like a perfect mix of relaxation and excitement for both you and your Grom! What kind of activities are you hoping to do in the evenings after a day of surfing?
