We're planning a trip to Rome next year and are really interested in visiting some of the catacombs there. I've heard there are several, but I'm not sure which ones are the most interesting or worth the visit. Does anyone have recommendations on which catacombs to prioritize? Any tips on what to expect or how to make the most of the visit would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Catacombs of San Callisto and the Catacombs of Domitilla are two of the most fascinating in Rome. San Callisto is one of the largest and most famous, with early Christian art and tombs of several popes. Domitilla offers a more intimate experience with beautiful frescoes. Both are rich in history and atmosphere. Have you thought about joining a guided tour to get deeper insights into their stories?
