We're going to be in Istanbul for four days and are looking to take a day trip to Bursa and the surrounding areas. Has anyone been there? What are the must-see spots and activities? Also, how's the transportation for getting there? Any tips for making the most of a day trip would be really appreciated!

Bursa is a fantastic choice for a day trip! You can’t miss the Ulu Mosque and the historic Koza Han for some silk shopping. If you have time, consider taking the cable car up Mount Uludağ for stunning views. As for transportation, the ferry to Yalova and then a bus to Bursa is a scenic and efficient option. Have you thought about trying the local Iskender kebab while you’re there? It’s a must! Enjoy your trip! 😊

Bursa is indeed a wonderful choice! If you have a bit more time, I'd recommend visiting the stunning Green Mosque and the nearby thermal baths for some relaxation. The transportation tips are spot on; taking the ferry can be a lovely experience. And definitely indulge in that Iskender kebab—it's a game changer! What other experiences are you hoping to have in Turkey? 🕌
