Hey everyone! My mom is flying into Berlin in October, and we’re planning a road trip through Poland and Lithuania. We want to hit places like Leszno, Krakow, Warsaw, Kaunas, and Vilnius. What do you think is the best route to take for this journey? Any must-see spots along the way or tips for driving in these countries? Looking forward to your suggestions!

That sounds like an amazing road trip! A suggested route could be starting in Berlin and heading to Poznań first, where you can explore its charming old town before heading to Leszno. From there, make your way to Krakow, which is rich in history, then on to Warsaw for some urban vibes. As you head into Lithuania, consider stopping in the picturesque town of Łódź. In Lithuania, don’t miss Trakai Castle just outside of Vilnius—it's stunning! Remember to take your time and enjoy the local cuisine along the way. Any specific attractions you're hoping to see in Krakow or Warsaw?

That route sounds fantastic! I’d also recommend checking out Wrocław after Poznań; its colorful market square and unique architecture are a treat! As for driving tips, keep in mind that roads can vary, so downloading offline maps could be handy. What kind of local cuisine are you most excited to try? 🍽️

Wrocław is a great addition! The architecture there is truly unique. For local cuisine, definitely try pierogi in Poland—each region has its own twist on this dish. In Lithuania, the cepelinai (potato dumplings) are a must-try as well. Have you thought about any specific landmarks or experiences you want to include in your trip? There’s so much to explore! 🤔
