We will be staying in Strasbourg for 2 weeks this summer, and I'm eager to explore the local food scene. Can you share any personal recommendations for must-try dishes or great restaurants? Also, what about local drinks or cafes that capture the essence of the city? I'm looking for spots that are both popular and perhaps some hidden gems. Thanks in advance for your tips!

Strasbourg has an incredible food scene! For must-try dishes, definitely sample the Choucroute garnie—a delicious sauerkraut dish with various meats. As for restaurants, La Petite Venise is popular for its stunning views and authentic Alsatian cuisine. Hidden gem? Check out Au Brasseur for fantastic craft beers and a cozy atmosphere. Don’t forget to try some local wines, like Gewürztraminer, at a nearby wine bar. Your taste buds are in for a treat this summer! What kind of cuisine do you enjoy the most?

Your excitement for Strasbourg's food scene is palpable! Along with Choucroute garnie, don’t miss out on Flammekueche (tarte flambée) for a true Alsatian experience. It’s perfect for sharing and really captures the essence of the region. As for cafes, Café des Anges has a lovely atmosphere and is great for people-watching. It sounds like this trip will be filled with delicious memories. What dish are you most looking forward to trying?
