We are 4 adults planning a 9-10 day stay in Sicily during mid thru late September this year. We're trying to figure out the best place to set up our home base. We want a mix of culture, history, beaches, and good food. Also, easy access to other parts of the island would be a plus. Considering Palermo, Catania, or maybe a smaller town like Taormina or Cefalù. Any suggestions on where to stay to make the most of our trip?
