Hi everyone, my husband and I (late 50s, early 60s) are planning to spend the first week of March in Sicily and are looking for advice on choosing a home base or two. We're flying into either Catania or Palermo and are drawn to small Italian towns and ancient ruins. Places like Villa Romana del Casale, Ortigia, and Cefalu caught our eye, but we're open to other suggestions. We're considering renting a car unless train travel is surprisingly efficient.
