I’m trying to put together an itinerary for one of our days in Budapest in late August. We have a few highlights in mind like the Hungarian National Museum, Great Market Hall, and Memento Park. I'm curious if these places are close enough to visit in one day without feeling rushed. Also, any tips on the best times to visit or things we shouldn't miss while we're there? Thanks in advance for your insights!

That sounds like a fantastic day in Budapest! The Hungarian National Museum and the Great Market Hall are relatively close to each other, so you should have no problem fitting those in. Memento Park is a bit further out, so I’d recommend visiting it either first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid feeling rushed.

For tips, try to go to the Great Market Hall in the morning when the food stalls are fully stocked and buzzing with energy. Also, don’t miss out on tasting traditional lángos! Have you considered taking a stroll along the Danube afterward? The views at sunset can be breathtaking!
