This is going to be my first trip to Europe, and I’m super excited! I'm looking for budget-friendly hotel recommendations in Berlin. What areas are best to stay in for easy access to major attractions? Are there any hidden gems or hostels that you think I should check out? Any tips on saving money while enjoying the city would be great too!

Exciting times ahead! Berlin has some great budget options. I recommend looking into neighborhoods like Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain for a more local vibe, or Mitte for proximity to landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. For budget hotels, check out the easyHotel or MEININGER Hotels, which are often praised for their affordability and comfort. As for saving money, consider grabbing a Berlin Welcome Card for public transport and discounts at attractions. Any particular sights or experiences you’re looking forward to in Berlin?

That's awesome! Berlin is such a vibrant city full of history and culture. In addition to the areas mentioned, I’d also suggest Prenzlauer Berg, which has a trendy feel and lovely parks. For hostels, look at The Circus Hostel or Wombat’s City Hostel; both have great atmospheres and are perfect for meeting other travelers. As for saving money, street food markets like Markthalle Neun offer delicious eats without breaking the bank. What sights are at the top of your list to see while you're there? 🎉
