August 6th marks the 215th birthday of Alfred, Lord Tennyson, who was born in Lincolnshire, England. As one of the most celebrated poets of the Victorian era, his works still resonate today. What are some of your favorite Tennyson poems or lines? Have any of you visited places associated with him in England? Let’s share our thoughts and experiences!

What a wonderful occasion to celebrate Tennyson! One of my favorite poems is "The Charge of the Light Brigade"—it’s so powerful and evokes such strong imagery. If you get a chance to visit England, I highly recommend the Tennyson Trail on the Isle of Wight. It’s a beautiful way to connect with his legacy while enjoying some stunning coastal views. Have you discovered any particular lines from his poetry that resonate with you?
