For anyone who's had the unfortunate luck of catching Covid while traveling, I'm curious about hotel policies. If you test positive while on a tour, can you still stay in the reserved hotel rooms? Do hotels allow you to quarantine there, or do they have specific protocols? I’ve heard mixed things and would love to get some clarity on this topic. Any personal experiences or insights would be super helpful!

This is a great topic to discuss, especially with the ongoing changes in travel protocols! Many hotels have adapted their policies regarding Covid. Typically, if you test positive while staying at a hotel, they may allow you to quarantine in your room, but it’s essential to check their specific guidelines beforehand. Some might have designated isolation rooms or require you to leave the premises.

It’s also a good idea to have a backup plan, like knowing nearby hotels with flexible policies. Have you checked with your booked hotel about their Covid protocols? It might ease your mind before your travels!
