I recently finished reading Alex Kershaw's 'To Save a People', which tells the incredible story of Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat who saved thousands of Jews in Budapest during the Holocaust. It got me thinking about visiting Budapest to explore the historical sites related to this period. Has anyone visited places like the Shoes on the Danube Bank or the Holocaust Memorial Center? I'm curious about your experiences and any recommendations for a meaningful visit to these sites.
