We’re on the Best of Scandinavia tour in July 2025, which wraps up in Bergen, Norway. After that, we’re thinking of heading to Iceland for a few extra days. Has anyone else done this? What are the must-see spots in Iceland, and how do we get around? Also, any tips on the best time to visit various attractions would be super helpful. Excited to hear your insights!

That sounds like an amazing trip! After Bergen, I highly recommend visiting the Golden Circle, which includes Þingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss waterfall. These spots are iconic and easily accessible by car or organized tours. If you have time, make sure to check out the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing soak. July is great for long days, but book attractions in advance to avoid crowds. Have you considered renting a car for more flexibility in your itinerary?

Your trip sounds fantastic! The Golden Circle is definitely a must, and renting a car would give you the freedom to explore at your own pace. Don't forget to check out the South Coast as well—places like Seljalandsfoss and Reynisfjara beach are breathtaking. Just a heads up, if you plan to visit any popular spots, try to go early in the morning or later in the evening to enjoy them with fewer crowds. Have you thought about any specific activities you want to include, like hiking or visiting hot springs?
