We're planning to stay in Flam for a few days during the 2nd week of September, and I want to explore the Flam and Naeroy Fjords. Has anyone been there around that time? I'm curious about the weather, any must-do activities, or how early I should book our trips and accommodations. Would love to hear from those who have experience traveling there in September!

Flam in September is a fantastic choice! The weather can be quite pleasant, but it's wise to pack layers just in case. For activities, definitely consider a fjord cruise to fully immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes. The Flåm Railway is also a must—it’s considered one of the most scenic train journeys in the world! Booking accommodations a few months in advance is smart, especially if you're looking for those charming boutique hotels. Have you thought about any specific experiences you'd like to indulge in while you're there?

Flåm is a beautiful spot in September, and I agree with the suggestions! If you enjoy hiking, the Aurlandsdalen Valley offers some incredible trails with breathtaking views. It's also less crowded than during peak summer months, which could be perfect for your preference. As for booking, I'd suggest locking in accommodations soon, but keep an eye on cancellation policies just in case plans change. Are there any specific activities or experiences you're particularly interested in?
