Question Free Public Transport in Prague for Seniors?

I'm planning a trip to Prague and heard that public transportation is free for seniors over 70. Is this true? If so, do I need to get some kind of pass or ID to use it? Also, how reliable and accessible is the public transport system there for older travelers? Any tips or experiences would be really helpful as I'm trying to figure out the best way to get around the city.
