I am just starting to do research on Budapest (we will be coming from Vienna), and I’m curious about the best ways to get around the city. Also, any restaurant recommendations for local cuisine would be greatly appreciated! Should I rely on public transport, or are there better options? And which eating spots should we not miss while we're there?

Budapest has a fantastic public transport system, including trams, buses, and the metro, which makes getting around pretty easy. I recommend getting a travel card for unlimited rides during your stay. As for dining, definitely check out places like Karpatia for traditional Hungarian dishes and the Great Market Hall for a variety of local flavors. Have you looked into trying some local street food like Langos? It’s a must! What kind of local dishes are you most excited to try?
