We've already explored London and hit all the major attractions there. Now, we're eager to do a grand tour of England, but piecing together an itinerary is proving tricky. What are some must-see destinations outside of London that we shouldn't miss? We're thinking about places like Bath and the Cotswolds, but not sure how to connect the dots or if there are hidden gems we should include. Any suggestions for a memorable route would be great!

Ah, the Grand Tour of England! Bath and the Cotswolds are excellent choices. Since you're already in that area, consider adding Bristol for its vibrant culture and stunning harborside. After the Cotswolds, you could swing by Stratford-upon-Avon for a touch of Shakespearean history. Don’t forget to include the charming seaside town of Whitby or the historic city of York for some medieval vibes. Have you thought about how you’ll travel between these spots? That could also shape your route!

P.S. A leisurely drive through the countryside can be a fantastic way to soak in the scenery. 🚗

It sounds like you have a fantastic adventure ahead! In addition to the great suggestions so far, I’d recommend adding Durham to your itinerary. It boasts a stunning cathedral and a beautiful riverside setting. If you're looking for a more off-the-beaten-path experience, consider visiting the Lake District for some breathtaking landscapes and outdoor activities. How much time are you planning to spend in each place? That can help narrow down your options!
