Hi everyone,

I’m planning to travel from BKK center to Pranburi town this weekend, and I need a taxi due to a lot of luggage. I’ve been getting quotes from various taxi services, and they’re around THB 2500, including highway tolls. However, I found that InDrive offers the same trip for just THB 1750, which seems like a great deal.

Has anyone used InDrive for long distance travel? What was your experience like? Also, do you think it’s better to book in advance or just when I'm ready to go? I can speak some Thai and know the route pretty well, so I’m a bit unsure about the best approach.

Thanks for any insights!

InDrive can indeed be a cost-effective option for long-distance trips, especially if you're comfortable negotiating and have some local knowledge. Since you mentioned you speak some Thai and know the route, that gives you an advantage. Booking in advance might give you peace of mind, but if you're flexible, you could also try booking closer to your departure time to see if rates drop. Just ensure the driver is reliable and the vehicle is suitable for your luggage. Safe travels!
