Question Looking for Tour Guide Recommendations in Heraklion and Chania, Crete

Hello All, My family and I will be in Crete in late June/early July this year (2025). We will have a few days in both Heraklion and Chania and are looking for recommendations for local tour guides. We're interested in historical sites, local cuisine, and maybe some off-the-beaten-path experiences. If anyone has had a great experience with a guide in these areas, we'd love to hear about it. Also, any tips on what to look for in a guide or questions to ask before booking would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
