Discussion Money Belt or Sling Bag: Which is Better?

Opinions please. I have never used a money belt but I have used a sling on many domestic trips. I'm considering which one is more practical for my upcoming international travel. The money belt seems discreet, but I'm worried about accessibility and comfort. On the other hand, the sling bag is easier to reach but might make me a target for pickpockets. What’s your experience? Which option did you find more effective for travel security and convenience?
