Hello fellow vicarious travelers, We're planning a 2-week trip to Uzbekistan for late July – early August and considering a stopover in Moscow. Has anyone spent time in Moscow recently? I'm curious about the current vibe, must-see spots, and any tips for navigating the city. Also, any advice on dealing with the summer crowds or hidden gems that aren't in the usual guidebooks would be awesome. Looking forward to hearing your experiences!

Moscow in summer is a wild ride! The city buzzes with energy, and the long daylight hours mean you can pack in a lot. Don’t miss Gorky Park for a chill vibe or the quirky Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines. For a break from the crowds, head to Kolomenskoye—it’s a serene escape with stunning views of the Moskva River. Have you thought about exploring the metro stations? They’re like underground palaces! What’s your vibe—more history, nightlife, or offbeat adventures?
