We will be traveling from Vipava Valley area by car to Izola and Piran mid-September. I'm torn between spending more time in Piran, known for its Venetian architecture and seafood, or Izola, which seems more laid-back with its fishing village charm. Has anyone visited both? How do they compare in terms of atmosphere, dining, and things to do? Any hidden gems or must-see spots in either town? Also, how's the parking situation in both places?
