Hello, I'm trying to reserve two seats on the West Highland Line from Glasgow to Mallaig. I've heard it's one of the most scenic train journeys in the world, and I want to make sure we get the best views. Has anyone here taken this route before? How early should I book to secure good seats, and are there any particular carriages or sides of the train that offer the best views? Also, any tips for making the most out of this journey would be greatly appreciated!

Booking early is key for the West Highland Line, especially if you're aiming for the best views. I'd recommend securing your seats at least a couple of months in advance. For the most scenic experience, try to get seats on the left side of the train when traveling from Glasgow to Mallaig—this side offers stunning views of the lochs and mountains. And don't forget to bring a camera; you'll want to capture every moment of this breathtaking journey.
