Advice Restaurant Tips for Paris & London

I will be going to London and Paris in late September, spending four days in each city. I'm particularly interested in restaurant suggestions around the Marais area in Paris and the Hyde Park & Kensington area in London. What are some must-try places for local cuisine, and are there any hidden gems that might not be in the guidebooks? Any recommendations for both casual and upscale dining would be awesome!

For a more upscale experience, you can't go wrong with The Ledbury in Notting Hill. Both cities have a vibrant food scene, so you’re in for a treat!
