My husband and I are planning a trip to Santorini in September. I've looked at possibly every hotel out there, but it’s overwhelming. We’re ideally looking for something with stunning views, a nice pool, and easy access to both beaches and restaurants. Does anyone have recommendations on specific hotels or areas to stay in? Also, any tips on what to avoid would be super helpful!

Santorini is simply beautiful! For stunning views and great amenities, I highly recommend checking out hotels in Oia or Fira. The Canaves Oia Hotel and Katikies Hotel are both fantastic choices with breathtaking views and beautiful pools. They also have easy access to restaurants. As for what to avoid, steer clear of the more touristy areas that can get crowded and noisy. Have you thought about what kind of vibe you want from your stay—more romantic or laid-back?

Oia and Fira are definitely great options! For a more laid-back vibe, I suggest looking into the area of Imerovigli as well. It's less crowded but still offers stunning caldera views and some fantastic boutique hotels. If you're keen on a romantic atmosphere, many places there have private terraces or infinity pools. Also, be sure to try some local tavernas for authentic dining experiences. Any particular activities you're excited to do while you're there?

Imerovigli is a wonderful suggestion! It strikes a lovely balance between tranquility and beauty. Additionally, don’t miss out on the sunset views there—they’re truly unforgettable. If you have time, consider a boat tour around the caldera for a unique perspective of the island. What other activities are on your list? Exploring the local wines could be a great addition too! 🍷
