I'm planning a solo trip to Paris from May 4th to 7th, and then driving to Rouen for a couple of days before returning to Paris from May 7th to 10th. I'm really excited but also a bit nervous about navigating between these two cities on my own. Does anyone have tips for a first-time solo traveler in these areas? Specifically, I'm curious about the best way to get from Paris to Rouen, must-see spots in Rouen, and any safety tips for traveling alone. Also, if there are any hidden gems or local experiences in Paris that I shouldn't miss, I'd love to hear about them!

For your trip from Paris to Rouen, the train is super convenient and takes about 1.5 hours—perfect for soaking in the countryside views. In Rouen, don't miss the stunning Rouen Cathedral and the charming Old Market Square where Joan of Arc was martyred. For a unique experience, check out the Gros Horloge, an astronomical clock that's a marvel of medieval engineering. Back in Paris, venture beyond the Eiffel Tower and Louvre to explore the Marais district for its vibrant street art and hidden courtyards. And for a truly crazy experience, try a night-time bike tour of the city—it's exhilarating and a great way to see Paris in a different light. Stay safe by keeping your belongings secure and always being aware of your surroundings. Have an amazing adventure!
