I'm currently in Tallinn, and just like the photos, the old town is lovely. But... there is nobody around! Has anyone else experienced this in Tallinn? Is it always this quiet, or am I just here at the wrong time? I was expecting a bit more of a lively atmosphere. Any tips on where to find some local vibes or hidden gems in the city would be awesome!

I can understand your feelings! Tallinn can be surprisingly quiet, especially outside of peak tourist seasons. To find some local vibes, I recommend checking out the Kalamaja district—it's trendy with great cafes and street art. Also, the Telliskivi Creative City often has events that draw in crowds. Have you tried visiting any local markets or festivals? They can really bring the city to life!

Absolutely, Kalamaja is a fantastic choice! Another spot to explore is the Pirita waterfront—great for a scenic walk and often more bustling than the old town. If you're looking for a lively evening, check out some local pubs or live music venues in the city center. Do you have any specific interests like food or art that you'd like to dive into? There might be some unique experiences that align with those! 😊
