We're heading to Norway in August and I'm trying to figure out how much time we should allocate to Oslo, Stavanger, and Bergen. We're interested in exploring the culture, nature, and maybe some local delicacies. How many days do you think we need in each city to really get a feel for them? Any must-see spots or activities that shouldn't be missed? Appreciate any insights you can share!

That sounds like an exciting trip! For Oslo, I'd recommend spending about 3 days to soak in the cultural highlights like the Viking Ship Museum and the Oslo Opera House. Stavanger is great for 2 days—don't miss the Pulpit Rock hike if you enjoy nature! As for Bergen, 3 days should give you enough time to explore the historic Bryggen wharf and take a ride on the Fløibanen funicular for stunning views. What local delicacies are you most curious about trying?

It sounds like you have a fantastic itinerary ahead! For local delicacies, definitely try some fresh seafood in Bergen, especially the fish market, and be sure to taste traditional dishes like 'klippfisk' (dried and salted cod) and 'raspeballer' (potato dumplings) in Stavanger. Each city has its own unique culinary scene! Have you thought about including any day trips from these cities to fully immerse yourself in Norway's stunning landscapes?

Those are great tips! For day trips, consider visiting the Sognefjord from Bergen or exploring the picturesque islands around Stavanger. They offer breathtaking views and a deeper dive into Norway's natural beauty. Also, if you're a fan of art, Oslo's Astrup Fearnley Museum is worth a visit. What specific activities are you most excited to try in each city?

It sounds like you're set for an amazing adventure! For time allocation, I’d suggest about 3 days in Oslo to soak up the culture and visit places like the Viking Ship Museum and the Munch Museum. For Stavanger, 2 days should suffice to explore the charming old town and take a day trip to the iconic Pulpit Rock. Lastly, spend 3 days in Bergen to enjoy the historic wharf and perhaps take the Flåm Railway for stunning views. What local delicacies are you most eager to try?
