My sister and I are planning a trip to Cornwall and Devon in late March/early April, just before Easter. We're excited to explore the beautiful countryside and coastal views, but I'm a bit concerned about driving around that time. Is the weather usually manageable for driving? Are there any specific routes or scenic drives we shouldn't miss? Also, any tips on navigating the narrow roads would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your insights!

Driving in Cornwall and Devon can be quite an adventure, especially with those stunning coastal views! Late March should generally be manageable, but be prepared for some rain and possibly unpredictable weather. I highly recommend the A39, also known as the Atlantic Highway—it’s picturesque and offers some amazing stops like Tintagel Castle. As for the narrow roads, just take it slow and be mindful of the locals; they’re used to navigating those lanes. Have you thought about any specific places you want to visit, or are you looking for suggestions?

That sounds like a fantastic trip! In addition to the A39, consider taking the B3314 from Boscastle to Port Isaac; it’s stunning and has some lovely coastal views. For navigating those narrow roads, using a smaller vehicle can really help. Also, keep an eye out for passing places! What are some of the highlights you’re hoping to see in Cornwall and Devon? 🌼
