The UK PM has just announced a general election that will coincide with my planned trip to Wales. I'm a bit concerned about how this might affect my sightseeing plans. Are tourist sites and local businesses typically open on election day? Should I expect any closures or disruptions in popular areas? Any advice or experiences would be really helpful as I try to figure out my itinerary!
