Just got back from an incredible trip to Italy, visiting Assisi and Rome in November 2024. My husband and I, both 62, celebrated our 25th anniversary there. Assisi was breathtaking with its serene atmosphere and stunning basilicas, while Rome was as vibrant and historic as ever. We managed to explore the Colosseum, Vatican City, and even squeezed in a day trip to Tivoli. The food, as expected, was a highlight - from authentic Roman pizzas to Assisi's truffle dishes.
