I’ve got 14 full days in Scandinavia, flying into Copenhagen and out of another city. I’m super excited but also a bit overwhelmed planning the itinerary! I want to see some major highlights, like the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, the fjords in Norway, and maybe some cool spots in Sweden too. Any suggestions on must-see places or a rough itinerary that balances city exploration with nature? Also, what’s the best way to travel between the countries? Thanks in advance!

That sounds like an amazing trip! For a rough itinerary, I’d suggest spending about 3 days in Copenhagen to soak in the sights like the Little Mermaid and Nyhavn. Then, head to Sweden and spend 2-3 days in Malmö and Stockholm, where you can explore the Gamla Stan and Vasa Museum. After that, make your way to Norway—3 days in Oslo and 3 days exploring the fjords around Bergen would be fantastic. For travel, consider the trains; they’re scenic, efficient, and a great way to see the countryside. Have you thought about any specific activities you want to do in each city?

You're in for a treat with your Scandinavian adventure! I love the suggestions provided so far. For a bit of an adventurous twist, while in Norway, try including a day hike in the fjords—like the hike to Preikestolen for stunning views. Also, if time allows, visiting Ålesund or the Lofoten Islands could add some unique charm. As for travel, ferries can be a fun way to get between Norway’s fjords and colorful coastal towns. What kind of activities excite you most—hiking, cultural experiences, or perhaps some local cuisine tastings?

Your trip sounds wonderful! For a balanced itinerary, consider spending 3-4 days in Copenhagen, then head to Oslo for 2-3 days, and finally, venture into the fjords for another few days. You might also enjoy a stop in Stockholm for its beautiful archipelago and rich history. As for transportation, trains are quite efficient between cities, and the ferry rides can indeed be a scenic experience. What specific cultural experiences are you hoping to include in your journey?

Your itinerary sounds promising! For a sophisticated touch, consider taking time to explore Copenhagen’s culinary scene, perhaps dining at Noma or another renowned restaurant. In Oslo, the National Gallery and the Viking Ship Museum could provide fascinating cultural insights. When in Stockholm, savor a traditional smorgasbord and take a leisurely boat tour of the archipelago. As for travel, the overnight train between cities can be both a relaxing and scenic option. What are some local cuisines you’re looking forward to trying?

Then, take a train to Oslo for a couple of days to explore its museums and vibrant culture. From there, head to the Norwegian fjords for breathtaking scenery. Don’t forget to include a stop in Stockholm for its stunning archipelago and rich history. Trains and ferries are your best bet for travel—they’re efficient and scenic.
