Question Visiting Medjugorje from Dubrovnik in July

I will be in Dubrovnik in late July and have been considering a trip to Medjugorje. I've heard a lot about it and think it could be an interesting experience. Has anyone made this trip before? I'm curious about the best way to get there, whether it's worth the visit, and any tips for making the most out of the experience. Also, if there are any must-see spots or things to avoid, I'd appreciate the advice.
