Review Warning About Montenegro Day Trip Driver/Guide

My group of 3 booked a day trip to Montenegro at the conclusion of our Rick Steves Best of the Adriatic tour. We were really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, our experience with the driver/guide was less than ideal. He was late, seemed uninterested in providing any meaningful commentary, and even got lost a couple of times. Has anyone else had a similar experience with day trip guides in Montenegro? I'm curious if this is a common issue or if we just had bad luck. Also, any recommendations for reliable guides or companies for future trips would be greatly appreciated.
