I'm planning a trip to Portugal and looking for the best beach towns near Lisbon or Porto. I'm especially interested in places that are not too crowded but still have a good vibe, with nice beaches and maybe some local culture or good food. I've heard about Cascais and Nazaré, but I'm wondering if there are any hidden gems I should consider. Any recommendations for a month-long stay?

For a month-long stay near Lisbon, consider Ericeira. It's a charming surf town with stunning beaches and a laid-back vibe. Near Porto, Vila do Conde offers beautiful beaches, historic sites, and a quieter atmosphere. Both spots have great local food and culture without the crowds of more touristy areas. Have you thought about splitting your time between the two regions?

Splitting your time between Ericeira and Vila do Conde sounds like a fantastic plan! Both offer a unique blend of beach life and local culture. If you're into surfing or want to try it, Ericeira is perfect. For a more tranquil experience with a touch of history, Vila do Conde is ideal. Have you considered exploring smaller villages nearby for day trips to get an even deeper dive into Portuguese culture?
