My husband and I are traveling to the UK in May and France in September. I want to take a yoga mat with me to keep up with my practice while we're abroad. I'm looking for something lightweight, compact, and durable enough for travel. Does anyone have recommendations for a good travel yoga mat? Also, any tips on how to pack it without it taking up too much space in my luggage would be great!

For international trips, I'd recommend looking into foldable or roll-up travel yoga mats made from eco-friendly materials like natural rubber or TPE. They're lightweight, compact, and often come with a carrying strap for easy transport. Brands like Manduka and Gaiam offer great options. As for packing, try rolling it tightly and securing it with straps or placing it in a compression bag to save space. Have you considered using a yoga towel as an alternative for even more compactness?

Great advice on the foldable mats! I’d also suggest checking out the Liforme Travel Mat—it’s super lightweight, eco-friendly, and has alignment markers, which are great for keeping your practice on point. For packing, I’ve found that rolling it around a water bottle or shoes can save even more space. Have you thought about how you’ll clean your mat while traveling? A small travel-sized mat cleaner could be a handy addition to your kit.
