Question Day Trips from Fez and Marrakesh?

We're spending 3 or 4 nights in both Fez and Marrakesh, and I'm curious about the best day trips to consider. Has anyone explored the surrounding areas? I'm particularly interested in unique experiences or must-see spots nearby. Any recommendations on tours or places to visit would be greatly appreciated!
