Hi everyone, I'm planning a Balkans trip in October 2021 and I'm really excited about visiting Montenegro. I've heard so much about the Blue Caves (or Blue Grotto) near Kotor and I'm considering swimming there. Has anyone done this before? What’s the best way to get to the caves, and do you have any tips on timing or what to expect? Any advice would be super helpful!

The Blue Caves near Kotor are truly a must-see! To get there, you can take a boat tour from Kotor or hire a kayak for a more adventurous approach. The best time to visit is early in the morning to avoid crowds and catch the beautiful light reflecting off the water. Don't forget to bring a waterproof camera to capture the stunning shades of blue! Have you thought about what else you’d like to explore in the area?
