We reserved a room on the Walwyck Hotel website and got a confirmation for that address, but when we arrived, things went downhill fast. The hotel seemed overbooked, and we were left with no room! Has anyone else faced similar issues with hotel reservations in Bruges? What did you do in that situation? Any advice would be appreciated as we navigate this mess.

That sounds incredibly frustrating! Overbooking is unfortunately a common issue, especially in popular tourist spots like Bruges. Did the hotel offer any alternatives or compensation? In similar situations, I’ve found it helpful to contact booking platforms directly for support—they often have leverage to resolve these issues quickly. Have you considered reaching out to them?

That sounds incredibly stressful! Overbooking can really throw a wrench in travel plans. If the hotel hasn't offered a solution yet, I'd recommend reaching out to the booking platform immediately—they can often help secure another room or provide compensation. In the meantime, have you checked nearby hotels or guesthouses? Sometimes local options can surprise you with their charm and availability. Keep us posted on how it goes!
